Operational Excellence Management System

Maritime Management AS has developed an Operational Excellence Management System which is designed to fulfill the requirements of ISO 9001:2000, ISO 9002:2000, the International Management Code for the Safe Operation of Ships, and for Pollution Prevention (ISM Code) and the ISPS Code.

All these programs (depending on the type of business) contribute to the effectiveness and efficiency of the Maritime Management AS companies.

Maritime Management AS holds DOC for most type of vessels.

We have prepared and implemented the following for each vessel under our management:

  • Shipboard Operation Manual including Contingency and Operational Plans – ISM Code.

  • SOPEP Plan – Marpol 73/78

  • Cargo Securing Plan

  • ISPS, including SSP & SSA

  • Maintenance System

Familiarization Handbook for all crew, including basic training and knowledge about the ship, company and the Safety Management System – STCW 1978/95 Convention.

Compliance Audits

Maritime Management AS carries out ISPS and ISM audits to ensure that the vessel is complying with the necessary standards and the company’s Safety Management System.
